The Alaska Tribal Administrators Association is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization established in 2013 to support Alaska's Tribal Administrators in the development and sustainability of strong and effective tribal administration.
Information is shared to all Tribes in Alaska - regardless of membership.
OUR MISSION
To develop a collaborative atmosphere of knowledge sharing and professional support among Alaska’s Tribal administrative professionals; and to promote effective tribal administration resulting in greater self-governance, community sustainability, and leadership.
GOVERNANCE
ATAA represents Tribal Administrators of Alaska tribal governments and is governed by its voting members who elect the organizations Board Directors - President, Secretary and Treasurer. The governing members also determine consensus decisions carried out by resolution.
SYMPOSIUM
Our Annual Symposium is held in early spring each year and provides Tribal Administrators and others with key topics and trainings to support a strong, healthy and sustainable tribal government and community. The symposium is open to all Tribes, regardless of membership.
